I am Rajashree
(Rah- Ju- shree)
Thankyou for stopping by. I work as a User Interface & User Experience designer and brand strategist creating thoughtful experiences with the combination of design, business and marketing.
My Beliefs:
Every day, I am intrigued by the new. People unafraid to try new things, or a story worth telling, or the winds of change. This passion for fresh ideas informs my work as a UI & UX Designer and Brand Strategist, creating thoughtful experiences integrating design, business and marketing. In a world where technology is all-pervasive, I put people first. So I design a better way for people and technology to connect better.
Love for immersive experiences:
After graduating from National Institute of Design, India, I garnered experience across companies, keeping human-centered design methods and processes as my compass. In my extensive work in print, I worked for brands like Taj Group of Hotels, Everest and Ferrero. But my longing for meaningful design experiences was not satiated. This was a time when the world was rapidly turning digital. The dynamic science combined with its emotional impact fascinated me completely. It quickly drew me into a wonderland of UX and UI Design. On the back of my prior studies in Human Factors and Design Process, I deep dived to the crossroads where design meets technology, psychology and marketing.
Stories, well told:
I see UX as storytelling, with each piece ¬– from creativity, design, planning, organisation, team work, analysis to empathy – playing a part. I love the synchrony between varied elements to serve one common purpose of design. My style is characterised by this harmony, that is renewed every moment. I use it to deliver the most modern and effective solutions for my clients.
In my last stint as a UX Designer and Researcher with Centillion tech, I researched and designed Corporate Websites. Before that I was responsible for Art Direction and Brand Strategy at Miyu Foods, was a Consultant Creative Director in agencies including Johnny Soko and The Flying Robots Design Pvt Limited and graphic designer for several firms including Times of India.
When I am not designing, I am channelling my unabashed love for painting, doing children’s illustrations, craft designer cupcakes and cookies. Or simply practicing for my next half-marathon in the National Park behind my home.
